why blue and why a rose?
The Blue Rose represents the left-handed path of the Feminine Christ - the path of the Magdalene and Sophia Christ. I do not claim to be a direct transmission of either of their teachings, yet they have been instrumental guides, friends, and mentors in my own process of embodiment as a woman.
The Magdalene path does not deny sensuality, beauty, feminine wisdom and sacred union from being paths of spiritual awakening and initiation. In fact, the Magdalene path was created and inspired from sacred alchemical teachings of Isis and Osiris, the sacred union of Jesus and Mary, and the divine light conception concept of impregnating the holy spirit into a living woman.
The Blue Rose represents the alchemical symbol of the deep unraveling and opening of the voice. The alchemy of speech, song, awakening. The Blue Rose represents our sovereign priestess power, our awakening through song, through courage to express and be seen.
She also represents the union of the mystical and enchanting realms with the physical. Our process of embodiment.
The Rose metaphorically and literally is one of the highest vibrating plants in nature. Her essence and power is highly sought after, healing and deeply cooling of inflammation and promotes beauty, wellbeing and Divine love. Her essence is delicate yet strong - she can break curses and heal wounds, alchemically transform and represents our own feminine body’s blooming from deep within.
This essence of the Rose came to me specifically through a portal painting - where she was asking to be seen and be a part of the next steps of my path. Her magic is merging the seen and unseen, the mystical and the mundane, and her radical path of honesty and expression, representing the blue of the throat chakra (vishuddha).
She teaches us the power of delicacy and honor, beauty and mysticism as paths of life, as well as the courage to be fully seen in our most natural and true expression. In this journey of life, we need the blue rose to guide us in our feminine journey, especially as those who feel the resonance of the Path of the Rose inside of us.
